How to Deal with Difficult People

We all know someone who is difficult to deal with. Sometimes they are your team member; sometimes they are your boss. Sometimes they are on committees with you.

They can take up a lot of our time and we can get anxious just thinking about them.

In this 3 hour workshop we explore:

  • What does difficult behaviour look like?
  • What triggers that difficult behaviour?
  • What we can do to better manage that behaviour?
  • How can we manage this situation more effectively in the long term?

What you’ll learn:

  • All about different personality types
  • How different personality types can react to stressful situations
  • How to set boundaries to ensure that we help manage everyone’s behaviour and ensure we have fair and transparent decision-making processes.
  • How to ensure people feel respected
  • Tips and tricks for giving effective feedback

This workshop is run with a small number of people. Lots of practical advice and an opportunity to explore your particular issues.

Stress Less: Stress Management Workshop

Stress is a normal part of life; but if we are dealing with high levels of stress day in and day out then it can have a negative effect on our health, our relationships and our productivity.

We can get stuck in a cycle of high levels of stress and think that this is normal; often to our personal detriment.

In this 3 hour workshop we explore:

  • What do I do when I’m stressed?
  • How does this impact on others?
  • What can we do to reduce stress in our personal lives and in the workplace?
  • Dealing with stressful situations in the workplace?
  • How can we get better at seeing and acknowledging all the hard work that people do every day?
  • What does respect look like in your team?

  • How stress negatively impacts on your team
  • Self-care is crucial
  • How to create ground rules for how the team will operate on a day-to-day basis to ensure people feel respected
  • Tips and tricks for giving effective feedback
